What other activities are there?
During the year Campus Life JV sponsors all sorts of exciting trips, camps, conferences and area-wide events. Most of these require a charge to cover various expenses. All trip information is made available to students and their parents via flyers distributed at school lunches and weekly JV meetings.
Where does Campus Life JV/Youth for Christ get financial support?
Youth for Christ is completely supported by voluntary contributions. Parents, civic groups, business people and churches are all encouraged to keep the financial foundations strong in order to keep each particular club active for years to come in your community.
Our History and Reputation. . .
Youth for Christ has been around for over 60 years serving the needs of youth. We believe this program has been proven over and over by the fact that parents - once they see some of the positive attitudes their kids pick up at Campus Life JV - are just as enthusiastic about our programs as the students.
Campus Life JV is an exciting youth program that your middle school son or daughter can be involved in this school year. We are proud to continue this program in your area after many years of involvement with students in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties over the past 18+ years. It is our utmost desire to keep you informed of this program and the activities we will be sponsoring throughout the school year.
Campus Life JV is run by a group of 6-8 competent, Christian adults from your community, who love kids. Campus Life JV meets weekly and is completely open to all students, grades 6th-8th. There is no attendance, membership or weekly dues.
Weekly meetings engage students in games, small group discussions, teaching about life skills (e.g. how to deal with peer pressure, making important life decisions, etc), and refreshments. Throughout the year we also sponsor area-wide trips and events like the JV Rollerthon, Michigan Ski Trip, Florida Spring Break Trip (8th grade only), JV Camp and Downtown Chicago/Deep River Waterpark Trip, just to name a few! Campus Life JV, a division of Youth for Christ, is an interdenominational organization that encourages kids to grow in all areas of their lives and to explore and build their own personal faith in God.
